אנגליה מעוררת רגשות עזים. מזג אויר הפכפך, היסטוריה מפוארת, כדורגל, סדרות טלביזיה איכותיות, נופים ירוקים ו… אוכל ושתיה. לשני הפריטים האחרונים יצא שם רע שמתשווה רק לשם שיצא למזג האויר האנגלי, אבל מדווחים שבשנים האחרונות האימפריה השתפרה בתחומים אלה. יצאנו לסכם חלקית את נושא הקולינריה האנגלית.
